WIZMnews.com A motorcycle crash Monday night near Chaseburg sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries. It happened at around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 162 and Petticoat Junction in the Town of Hamburg. The motorcycle was operated by Benjamin Schmidt, 23, of Chaseburg. He lost control while going around a curve, Both he and his passenger, Lilly Ann Doudna, 20, of Soldiers Grove, were thrown from the motorcycle. They went to Emplify Health by Gundersen in La Crosse by Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance. The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office said that neither person was wearing a helmet, protective clothing, or eye protection.
