As the new year arrives, there’s always a desire to make changes to improve one’s health.   For some, that may be trying what’s known as “Dry January” where a person either gives up or significantly reduces alcohol consumption during the month.   Amanda Westfall, Community Benefit Specialist with Emplify Health by Gundersen, said there are a number of benefits to doing so.   “So first, physical health and well-being, you may find that you’re sleeping better at night and that you are able to focus a little bit more. You have more energy during the day.
