WIZMnews.com Food Drive Fridays continues today to help the Hunger Task Force. Volunteers from local Rotary clubs and the Great Rivers United Way manned both donation sites. This is the second of three weeks of the event. People can drop off both non-perishable food or cash donations until 6 p.m. The volunteers are at the old Kmart parking lot and the Hy-Vee parking lot. Everything collected goes to the Hunger Task Force, which is facing a shortage of items due to increased demand this summer from the 128 pantries, programs, and organizations they support in the area.
