La Crosse Arts Board approves idea of adding “Culture” to committee’s name

WIZMnews.com La Crosse hosts many festivals and public events during the year, from Oktoberfest and Riverfest to smaller celebrations such as Artspire. There are now efforts at City Hall to broaden the scope of an existing committee that oversees those activities. A proposal to change the name of the city arts board, to make it the Arts and Culture Board, has been endorsed by that board.
