Tieline will show its new ViA Duo remote codec at IBC 2026 The company describes it as a portable broadcast platform that unifies IP workflows remote broadcasts, commentary and off-tube broadcasting.  It operates as an IP codec or AoIP commentary node, or facilitates off-tube broadcasting through support for audio and a video feed, without needing outboard mixers or recorders. The unit fits in the palm and supports video streaming, multiple AoIP protocols, plus IP codec streaming over multiple interfaces.  Sample applications include a reporter with a guest; two people broadcasting sports; announcers working at home; talk hosts on the road; and sports commentary over AES67, ST2110-30, Livewire, Ravenna or Dante (AoIP and Dante cards are optional). It has two XLR mic/line inputs and headphone outputs. It can send bidirectional stereo or dual mono IP audio from any remote location to the studio using cellular, Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections.
