Joe Rogan said he is “leaning towards” Candace Owens’ theories surrounding the assassination of Charlie Kirk during a Thursday episode of his podcast. Last September, Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was killed after being shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson was ultimately charged with his murder after confessing to his father. However, Owens, a longtime friend of Kirk’s, has been outspoken in her conspiracy theories about his death, repeatedly casting doubt on the case against Robinson while floating theories implicating a wide range of actors, including Israel, Egypt, the U.S. military, and even Turning Point USA. In conversation with comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir on Thursday’s edition of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan remarked, “The more time goes on, the more I’m leaning towards Candace Owens. She’s got some very interesting theories.” The podcaster continued, “I don’t think any story that you hear in the news is accurate. There’s always some spin. And so, whatever the spin is about Tyler Robinson, there’s some bullsh*t to it. I don’t know how much of it is bullsh*t, but there’s some bullsh*t. One of the more recent bullsh*ts is they found a photo that they were saying was Tyler Robinson, but then people noticed that the — cause he’s real thin — people noticed that the cars in the background, the proportions were distorted.
