
A passenger in an SUV is killed early this morning in a two-vehicle crash in Trempealeau County. It happened just before 5 a.m. north of Centerville on Highway 93 near Fox Coulee Lane according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office. Ther investigation said it appeared a black SUV was headed south when it hit a deer. The SUV’s driver lost control of the vehicle and went into the northbound lane. It collided with an oncoming pickup truck. Both drivers were airlifted from the crash. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Names of the people involved haven’t been released by the sheriff’s office. Highway 93 was closed for eight hours due to the crash.
