Samsara has launched Driver Perks, a new rewards program designed to provide professional drivers with discounts and special offers from more than 50 brands. The free program is available to millions of professional drivers across the United States and gives fleets another way to recognize employees without creating and managing their own rewards system. The program covers drivers working in several transportation sectors, including long-haul trucking, last-mile delivery, and passenger transit. Samsara also plans to expand Driver Perks to additional professional drivers around the world in the future. Samsara developed the program with input from members of its Driver Council and feedback collected from drivers throughout its network. The company said it focused on providing practical benefits that professional drivers said would be useful both while working and during their personal time. Driver Perks currently includes offers from more than 50 participating brands covering categories such as food, fitness, wellness, travel, apparel, entertainment, and other lifestyle products and services. Participating companies include Audible, BetterHelp, BetterSleep, Dickies, Liquid I.V., OLIPOP, Pit Boss Grills, MEATZY, and Truck Parking Club. Professional drivers have several ways to access the discounts. Eligible users can find Driver Perks through the Samsara Driver App, access the program through a direct web link, or scan a QR code supplied by their organization. Offers remain available at any time rather than being limited to specific redemption periods. Each participating company establishes its own terms and conditions, and drivers redeem their discounts directly with the individual brands. Samsara expects to continue adding participating companies and new offers as the program develops.
