- Trump Trashes CNN Over Iran Peace Deal Reports: ‘Even With New Ownership, It I...
President Donald Trump bashed CNN on Sunday for its reporting on his peace deal negotiations with Iran — and said he believes the channel will remain a “Low Ratings disaster” even when it’s acquired by Paramount Skydance. The president went off on the channel in a Truth Social post. You can read the full text below: Fake News CNN said today, routinely, that my Iran Nuclear Deal doesn’t talk about Nuclear, when actually it states, very clearly, that Iran will not have a Nuclear Weapon. It then goes on, in very strong and lengthy detail, to discuss various other aspects of Nuclear. In fact, that’s what most of the agreement is about. CNN, and so many others in the Fake News Media, is a Low Ratings disaster. Even with new ownership, it is unlikely to ever get better!!! President DJT Trump was obviously referring to Paramount Skydance buying CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, at the end of his post. That post came about 40 minutes after CNN anchor Jessica Dean reported Trump is “seeking changes to the text of a potential deal, insisting on tougher language on Iran’s nuclear commitments.” And earlier in that hour around 6:00 p.m. local time, CNN correspondent Julia Benbrook reported “Sources have told our team throughout this process that the memorandum of understanding, which is under consideration, would likely extend the negotiation period for 60 days on some of those top issues, including Iran’s nuclear program.” She said that would also include “the fate of the stockpile of highly-enriched uranium.” Benbrook added a White House official reiterated to her that Trump would only make a deal if it “addresses his red lines,” with the top one being his priority that Iran never obtains a nuke. Those reports come a week after Trump said the U.S. and Iran’s theocratic regime had made significant progress on a deal — and suggested an agreement was imminent. “Final aspects and details of the Deal are currently being discussed, and will be announced shortly,” Trump posted on May 23. “In addition to many other elements of the Agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” A final agreement still remains in limbo, though. Trump debated a deal towards the end of last week, but ultimately decided the current framework was not good enough. The president has remained steadfast that any deal would guarantee Iran… [TheTopNews] Read More.9 hours ago - Graham Platner Blasts ‘Establishment Media’ for Trying to ‘Rip Apart’ Hi...
Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner (D) accused The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal of “journalistic malpractice” Sunday after they published stories that his wife, Amy Gertner, told campaign officials he had sexted multiple women. The Wall Street Journal cited “anonymous sources, reporting, “Amy Gertner, who married Platner in 2024, told the campaign about messages she had found early in their marriage in the spring of 2025. In late August, as some aides were conducting opposition research on their own candidate, Gertner disclosed the texts to a campaign aide to make sure they didn’t pose a risk to her husband’s nascent campaign.” The Times cited Genevieve McDonald, a former state legislator who was the Platner campaign’s political director. Platner had some choice words for McDonald, as well as the outlets, during a TV interview with a local ABC affiliate. “It’s no surprise to me that the establishment media outlets are just gonna run gossip instead of wanting to talk about the things that actually matter in this race, which are the material realities that the Mainers are working with,” Platner told WMTV in Maine. “These people are gonna try to make this race about anything but what it’s supposed to be about, which is policy. They never want to talk about policy,” he continued. “Amy and I have a very loving and very happy marriage. They would very much like to try to rip that apart.” Platner then denied the stories were factual. “But the stories are true, right? About the texts?” a reporter asked. “No, no, this is the amazing part,” Planter answered. “The Wall Street Journal and New York Times ran stories without any evidence besides the gossip from a former staffer. I’m sorry that’s, frankly, journalistic malpractice. We pushed back on it, they won it, they did it anyways.” “So, are you confirming that the messages did not exist?” the reporter asked. “I’m confirming that what Genevieve McDonald said in The New York Times is not true,” Platner said. “So, you never met with her about uncomfortable — for lack of a better word — “sexting messages,” as the campaign was going?” the reporter asked. “We talked about things in Amy and I’s marriage that we’ve gone through over the years,” Platner said. “We talked about that because that’s our marriage and we discussed it with the campaign. What Genevieve McDonald claims isn’t true.”… [TheTopNews] Read More.9 hours ago - Texas Radio Hall of Fame Opens 2026 Nominations

(Photo Credit: The Young Turks on YouTube) The Young Turks’ chief pundit and co-founder Cenk Uygur was barred from entering the United Kingdom over government concerns his presence would not be “conducive to the public good,” The Times reported on Sunday. Uygur was set to appear at the SXSW London festival later this week. But British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood decided the leftist commentator was not fit to enter the country, due in part to his rants against Israel. The Times reported: The decision to block Uygur from travelling to the UK is understood to have been based on several grounds, including fears that his presence would risk exacerbating antisemitism due to his rhetoric since the October 7 attacks in 2023. This has included repeating classic antisemitic tropes, such as the claim that Israel controls America. He falsely claimed on his podcast in July last year that the Israeli lobby gave more to Congress than any other. Uygur confirmed he was banned from entering the UK in an X post on Sunday. He said it was for “criticizing Israel.” “Are we free anymore?” he continued. “This is oppression of Western citizens by our own governments on behalf of a different country!” I’ve been banned from the UK. I tried to get on a flight to London to attend SXSW London and give a speech at Oxford. I’ve been banned for criticizing Israel. Are we free anymore? This is oppression of Western citizens by our own governments on behalf of a different country! — Cenk Uygur (@cenkuygur) May 31, 2026 His nephew, popular streamer and former TYT commentator Hasan Piker, said he was banned from entering the UK as well during a livestream on Sunday. “I didn’t want to talk about it, but uh, my visa has also been revoked,” Piker said. “We just found out… I don’t know who to reach-out for this.” Piker has made headlines for a number of claims over the years, including saying America “deserved” to be attacked on September 11. He has also called Hamas “the lesser of two evils” when comparing the terrorist organization and Israel. And last month during an appearance on Pod Save America, Piker branded the Republican Party the “biggest domestic terrorist” organization and the “biggest terrorist internationally.” The post The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur Banned From Entering United Kingdom first appeared on Mediaite. Independent journalist Nick Shirley said it is too risky for him to report on certain topics now because the “left-wing media” put a “target” on his back following his viral report on suspected widespread fraud in Minnesota last year. Shirley talked about his reporting during an interview on The Big Weekend Show on Fox News on Sunday. Co-host Tomi Lahren said towards the end of the segment that Shirley told her off-camera that it was “too dangerous” for him to report on anti-ICE protests that happened in New Jersey this weekend. Shirley said that was true, since the mainstream press had turned him into Public Enemy Number 1 for liberal activists. “Because of what the left-wing media did to me when I exposed this broad — even Gov. Tim Walz called me a white supremacist and all these other people called me racist, which is completely not true. But the radical left now believes that, so now I have a target on my back.” He added he may have to wear a disguise to hit future protests. Shirley’s report from Minnesota last December came a week after federal prosecutors said a $9 billion “industrial-scale” fraud scheme had rocked the state. It has since been viewed more than 140 million times, per X’s view counter. His report also sparked sharp criticism of Walz, with many asking how he could allow so much taxpayer dough to be stolen right under his nose. Walz said last year federal prosecutors were “speculating” about the massive scope and fueling “sensationalism,” but the scandal ultimately spurred him to not seek reelection this year. The New York Post reported the scheme was pulled off by “dozens of people — the vast majority from Minnesota’s Somali community.” More than 90 people were charged. In April, the FBI raided 22 Minnesota businesses as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on the alleged multi-billion dollar fraud scheme that went unchecked — including hitting the infamous Quality Learning Center, which became a symbol of the alleged scam, as well as a running joke for the childcare center’s misspelled sign reading “Quality Learing Center.” The QLC was perhaps the most memorable part of Shirley’s report; he has sardonically donned sweatshirts with the misspelled name on it since his report went viral. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon) Dr. Jonathan Reiner trolled Donald Trump on Sunday after the president once again bragged that the “cognitive test” he has taken four times showed “extreme intelligence.” In a late-night Truth Social screed hours earlier, Trump bragged: Unlike other U.S. Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high difficulty, Cognitive Test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered ‘extreme intelligence. Are the Dumocrats really surprised? In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or, 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row. All people running for President and Vice President should be forced to take high difficulty Cognitive Tests. Congress, and the Dumocrats, should demand it! Reiner, who has been critical of Trump’s doctors for a lack of transparency surrounding the president’s health, sounded off on the true nature of the exam. “I’m glad the president did well on the MOCA exam, but it’s a dementia screening tool, not an IQ test, so a score of 26 or higher represents normal cognitive performance, not extreme intelligence,” Reiner wrote on X. “None of the questions are high difficulty.” I’m glad the president did well on the MOCA exam, but it’s a dementia screening tool, not an IQ test, so a score of 26 or higher represents normal cognitive performance, not extreme intelligence. Barbabella noted that “President Trump remains in excellent health,” and only needed to increase his exercise and continue to lose weight. Barbabella did not address Trump’s chronic venous insufficiency that causes his ankles to swell, or the fact that he appears to nod off during important Oval Office and Cabinet meetings. Of the visible bruising on Trump’s hands, Barbabella called it “consistent with minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking in the setting of aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention.” “I’m glad Dr. Barbabella’s overall assessment is that the president is well. A few questions,” Reiner wrote Saturday. I’m glad Dr. Barbabella’s overall assessment is that the president is well. A few questions.1. Why did the president have… [TheTopNews] Read More.11 hours ago
