On the latest episode of her podcast, Katie Miller grilled Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s death, asking him if he was “still confident his death wasn’t a murder?” In 2019, the deceased child sex predator died in a federal prison while he was awaiting trial for sex trafficking minors. Epstein’s death was ruled a suicide, but there have been ongoing suspicions that foul play may have been involved, especially since the jail failed to follow its regular procedures for monitoring his cell and the video cameras malfunctioned that night. After mounting pressure — including from his fellow Republicans — President Donald Trump signed a law last November to release the files related to Epstein and his girlfriend and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell with a deadline of Dec. 19. The law required a wide release of millions of documents, photos, videos, and other files, with redactions limited to victims’ names and other identifying information. On Dec. 19, Blanche admitted during an appearance on Fox & Friends that the Department of Justice would not be able to meet the law’s deadline. Since then, there have been additional releases of files that have revealed additional powerful people who were in communication with Epstein, thousands of mentions of Trump, and controversial failures to redact victims’ names and nude images. Congressional committees have continued to investigate, issuing subpoenas to prominent people mentioned in the files and DOJ officials all the way up to Attorney General Pam Bondi. Miller, the wife of White House adviser Stephen Miller, launched her podcast, The Katie Miller Podcast, last year. She interviewed Blanche on the most recent episode, with a focus on Epstein, including over eight minutes discussing the circumstances around his death (the relevant section begins around the 14:00 mark). Miller asked Blanche point blank if he thought that Epstein killed himself. “Do you believe he committed suicide, or do you believe that somebody else killed him?” she asked. Blanche replied that he had “reviewed all the available evidence regarding his death, and I believe that the conclusion that he committed suicide is based on the — a bunch of independent agencies, including the New York City Medical Examiner, the OCME, and so I have no reason to doubt that conclusion that they reached based upon everything I’ve reviewed.” He did hedge a bit, continuing: “Now, was I there? Were you there? Nope. And so —… [TheTopNews] Read More.16 hours ago - The Athletic Reporter Apologizes to Dodgers Star for Reporting He Was Suspended ...
(AP Photo/Brynn Anderson, File) The Athletic senior writer Evan Drellich apologized to Los Angeles Dodgers player Miguel Rojas on Wednesday afternoon, two days after he incorrectly reported Rojas was suspended for using performance enhancing drugs. His apology also came a few hours after Rojas called him out on a popular baseball show for the “b*llshit” report. “To Miguel Rojas and the Dodgers, I sincerely and publicly apologize,” Drellich posted on X. “I’ve reached out to Miguel, the Dodgers and Miguel’s agent to say the same. Once again, I’m sorry.” To Miguel Rojas and the Dodgers, I sincerely and publicly apologize. I’ve reached out to Miguel, the Dodgers and Miguel’s agent to say the same. Once again, I’m sorry. — Evan Drellich (@EvanDrellich) March 18, 2026 That mea culpa followed his bogus post on Monday, which said Rojas was suspended for 80 games for “use of a banned substance.” Drellich deleted the post a few minutes later and said he incorrectly identified the Dodgers second baseman. He fingered the wrong Rojas, it turned out; Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Johan Rojas was the player who actually failed the drug test. Miguel Rojas was then asked about the whole ordeal during an interview on the Jomboy Media Baseball show on Wednesday. Co-host Chris Rose said Drellich “mistyped” Rojas’s name, which spurred the player to jump in. “Whoa whoa whoa, let me stop you there. He didn’t mistype my name. He did it with all the intention to put my name and the organization’s name on that tweet,” Rojas said. “One thing is to mistype my name and say Miguel Rojas got suspended — that’s a kind of fair mistake that you can commit. But when you say Miguel Rojas from the Los Angeles Dodgers got suspended 80 games for PEDs, that’s what I’m not good with.” Rojas insisted he didn’t want to make it a “big deal,” but he said he was thrown off by Drellich not contacting him or the organization to apologize. Rose said that was “b*llshit” when he heard it, and Rojas said he thought it was BS too. (Brandon Bell/Pool via AP) President Donald Trump’s chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr, joined New York Post columnist Miranda Devine on her podcast on Wednesday and explained his attempts to push media outlets to run “pro-America” content. “We recently launched, sort of in honor of the country’s 250th, a ‘Pledge America’ campaign. We’re inviting broadcasters to, you know, once again highlight the great wins of the country and run patriotic programming—maybe starting off with the Pledge of Allegiance, which we used to do. But there are lots of ways that you can run pro-America content with it. It’d be a great thing for broadcasters to do, particularly this year,” Carr began. “Why do you think these broadcasters lost their way the way they have and have become, as you say, almost anti-American?” Devine followed up, adding: I mean, Disney in particular made a lot of money from clean, wholesome family fare, and it’s gone the opposite way. You’d think they would just want to make money. That’s a surefire way of doing it. Why have they gone down this niche, sort of route? “Well, New York and Hollywood have never been known for really having the pulse of the cross-section of the country, but it got worse in the late teens and into the early 2020s. We saw a significant explosion of DEI and woke ideology, and it was fully embraced hook, line, and sinker by New York and Hollywood. I think, as a country, as a general matter, you’re seeing course correction,” Carr replied, adding: You see the business is regulated by the FCC abandoning some of that invidious form of DEI discrimination. So I think we’re going through a much-needed course correction. But New York and Hollywood were part and parcel of, you know, a really weird bent in this country for a number of years there. The Trump admin aims to “rebalance” the media by encouraging television broadcasters to “stand up” for their communities and air more patriotic programming, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr revealed to @mirandadevine on “Pod Force One.” Subscribe here: https://t.co/rozgf45ZeN pic.twitter.com/0uleaSuaYk — New York Post (@nypost) March 18, 2026 Over the weekend, Carr shared a post from President Donald Trump raging at the negative media coverage of his Iran operation. Carr added his own message while sharing Trump’s sentiments: “Broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions – also… [TheTopNews] Read More.16 hours ago - GOP Leader Dismisses Rand Paul’s Scathing Mullin Takedown on Fox News: ‘Thes...
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) dismissed Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) concerns about Senator and DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) on Wednesday, hours after the two clashed during a tense confirmation hearing. During an interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, Thune was asked about the hearing earlier in the day and the “heated” exchanges between Paul and Thune. Paul brought up past comments Mullin made making light of an assault against Paul. The Kentucky senator also brought up other examples to argue his point that Mullin has anger issues. Mullin is President Donald Trump’s nominee to replace Kristi Noem as the head of the Department of Homeland Security. Thune threw his support behind Mullin and dismissed Paul’s concerns as coming from the personal history the pair have. Thune said the Senate could vote to confirm Mullin as soon as next week after a committee vote tomorrow. The Senate leader said: Well, as I described it earlier, Martha, these two have some personal history, which they are going to have to figure out how to work through but the issue here is the job. It’s an important job, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. That position is vacant right now needs to be filled. Markwayne Mullin has a lot of support. Any of us who have worked with him are very confident that he will do a terrific job over there so we want to move the process along, obviously. The confirmation hearing was held earlier today and some of those differences that they had were litigated at that hearing but at the end of the day it’s about ensuring that we have the right person in the job and this is a really important job and we think that Markwayne Mullin is the right person for it. Paul also joined Fox News on Wednesday after the hearing. “I think his anger issues that he has as an individual, and his celebration of the violence that happened to me, but also his justification of the violence when he’s, you know, engaged in-, he was ready to have a fistfight in a committee,” the senator said. “When they asked him, after he had cooled off days later, you know, would he reject any of that? Does he regret any of it? And he said, no, he had no regrets.” Watch above via Fox News. The post GOP Leader Dismisses Rand… [TheTopNews] Read More.16 hours ago - Fetterman Says Democrats Don’t Have a Leader Right Now: ‘Governed by TDS’
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) said his party does not have a leader — or a human one, at least. Instead, he argued the Democrats are driven by a seething hatred for President Donald Trump, or what is often referred to as “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Fetterman made the claim during an interview on the All-In podcast on Wednesday. “Who do you think leads the Democratic Party today?” Co-host David Friedberg asked. “Oh, we don’t have one,” Fetterman said. “I think the TDS, that’s the leader right now… our party is governed by the TDS. And now it’s made it virtually impossible without being punished as a Democrat to agree something’s good or I agree with the other side.” The senator pointed to the strikes against Iran as a clear example. Fetterman said he is the “only” Democratic that he knows in Congress who has publicly supported Operation Epic Fury — and that makes zero sense to him. He said: I think it’s a great thing to break and destroy the Iranian regime. I think it’s appropriate to hold them accountable. And what’s strange to me [is] that every single Democrat that’s run for president and anyone I know in Congress has said, “We must never allow them to acquire a nuclear bomb.” When that happens, why not celebrate that or acknowledge that? I’ve only witnessed criticism. Fetterman praised Trump for the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes that killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on February 28, saying the president was “absolutely correct” to attack. He’s been willing to go against liberals on other topics as well, like his opposition to anti-ICE protesters doxxing immigration agents. He was also irritated with Democrats for not voting to open the government last fall. He told Friedberg on Wednesday he doesn’t care if his fellow Dems hate it when he compliments Republicans. “They’re not Nazis, they’re not fascists,” he said. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon) President Donald Trump’s administration reportedly coordinated with and approved of Israel’s latest strike on an Iranian natural gas processing facility. On Wednesday, Israeli forces launched attacks on multiple facilities on the South Pars gas field in southwestern Iran. The field is one of the largest gas fields in the world and crucial to Iran’s economy, and the attack came as Iran continued to restrict passage through the Strait of Hormuz. This turmoil within the energy market has led to steep increases in gas prices across the globe. According to a report from Axios, Tuesday’s attacks were carried out with the approval of the Trump administration. The report continued: This is the first time Israel has struck natural gas facilities in Iran, which are key to Iran’s economy. The Israeli officials said the strike was coordinated with and approved by the Trump administration. The semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported that several facilities in the South Pars gas field near Bushehr were targeted. According to the report, emergency teams were on the scene and trying to extinguish the fire. As noted in the report, the U.S.’s approval of the strikes marked a dramatic shift from its stance just a week ago. After Israel bombed Iranian oil depots, the Trump administration was reportedly “dismayed” by the move and it was viewed as the first major disagreement between the two countries in the war. Days later, it was reported that the U.S. explicitly asked Israel to stop bombing Iran’s energy infrastructure. The post US Reportedly Coordinated with Israel on Unprecedented Strikes of Iranian Gas Fields Amid Energy Market Chaos first appeared on Mediaite.
